What do I have to do now?

All you need to do first is to follow a few steps in our reimbursement tool. Do not be put off, it looks a bit complicated at first, but it is not such a handful as it seems. In any case it is vital that you read these FAQ carefully!

Do I really have to send in my original ticket?

Yes, you do. Your request must reach us until 10th of November and it would be wise to send your ticket via registered post and make a copy of the front and back beforehand to stay on the safe side. If you don’t have your ticket anymore, check out the question “OMG, I don’t have my ticket anymore!” below.

How long do I have to send in my ticket?

After you have started the process in the tool, you have 10 days to send in your original ticket for us to see if you qualify for the refund.

How do I send in my original ticket safely?

We definitely recommend sending the original ticket via registered mail. Also, please do not forget to include your printed return receipt! Of course you could just send everything in using regular postage, but we cannot guarantee for its safe arrival, and if it is lost, it is lost. Please bear in mind that we won’t issue a refund for the postage paid.

OMG, I don’t have my ticket anymore!

If you have lost your ticket, send us your booking confirmation AND your festival ribbon (without the clasp). It is very important that we receive both, otherwise we won’t be able to process your request.

How long will it take to receive the money in case of a refund?

Since we will be checking all of your data, it may take up to 12 weeks before you will be issued a refund to your bank account. We start off by processing all tickets sent in, then we check all the booking confirmations plus the festival ribbons. We really appreciate your patience in this respect.

General and important!

  • The reimbursement is done conditionally – which means that we check all the details of your booking for accuracy, and we reserve the right for the time being to not reimburse any money until we receive and process the respective documents.
  • A refund always refers to the price printed on your ticket including advance booking fee but without garbage deposit.
  • The amount we will offer as reimbursement refers to the price of the original ticket, not the price you possibly paid via third-party such as eBay and the likes.
  • If you read all the FAQ (!), but still have questions, write to tickets@chiemsee-summer.de
